Article Archives
Preface
This archival section of the Website contains two distinct classes of articles. There are articles by myself, some previously published but not readily available, some never published e.g. lectures given on various occasions. I have been quite critically selective in the latter case. Some of the occasional lectures that might have been included are not, indeed they are being dumped by me, as are various bundles of notes. What is left is what I consider seriously helpful to those who are struggling towards an explanatory heuristic. I would note too that what I "dump" includes transcripts made from tapes of various conferences I have given. If you come across such, don't waste your energy on them: there is enough serious print to ponder without turning to such remnants. The second class of article consists of articles by colleagues that I consider worth the effort of serious reading, some published, some never published. These are included, of course, with the agreement of the writers.
The two classes are not separated here, indeed the sequence is quite random, simply determined by the order of the inclusion in these Archives. However, I add immediately a Table of Contents of the Archives, and occasionally there an introductory comment on the particular entry.
These articles are in Adobe PDF format and require the Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing, unless you allready have Adobe Acrobat installed on your system. The Acrobat Reader is a free download and I have provided a link to the site at the bottom of this page.
